Mini Jellyfish Wall Art – Whimsical Seaglass & Ink Illustration

This miniature jellyfish artwork began on the beaches of Cyprus, where I carefully collected the frosted white seaglass that forms its delicate bell. Shaped and softened by years in the Mediterranean Sea, the glass was naturally tumbled by waves until it became smooth and velvety, with a soft translucent glow! The two tiny pebbles anchoring the scene were also gathered by hand from the shoreline, chosen for their subtle tones and organic shape. Each element has been shaped first by nature, warmed by the sun, washed by saltwater, and carried by the tide.

Back in my studio, I paired these natural treasures with my own hand-drawn illustration. Fine ink lines create the jellyfish’s flowing tentacles, curling and spiraling to suggest gentle underwater movement. Small dotted details surround the figure like rising bubbles, adding a sense of lightness and quiet motion.

This piece celebrates the meeting of sea-found materials and simple illustration, where nature and imagination blend into one peaceful ocean scene. Minimal and calming, it brings a subtle coastal touch to any space!

The last two photos were taken under direct sunlight to show how the seaglass transforms with light, becoming more luminous and softly translucent as the sun passes through it.

As with all my work, every piece of seaglass and stone was personally collected from Cyprus beaches, making this artwork completely one of a kind.
